The 3-step install.

Each install or removal takes about 30 seconds per side.
1

Attach the bottom hook

Attach the bottom RideSecure™ hook to a secure spot near the bottom of your rack frame or near the bottom of the rear fork. Racks vary, so find a spot that gives the hook a solid mechanical anchor.

No lower anchor point? Use the included 90-degree bracket. See the optional bracket install section below.

Position the top hooks

Place the top RideSecure™ hooks over the top rail of your rack. Position the bag toward the back of the rack for better foot clearance if possible.

Need to reposition the hooks? If your rack requires different hook spacing or location, swap the hook screws over to the new mounting holes. Set aside the original screws, remove the screws from the new hook location, install them into the original holes, then use the hook screws to mount the hooks in the new spot.

Note: Some pannier versions use longer screws specifically for the hook locations. Keep these screws paired with the hooks. Always tighten mounting hook screws securely with a Phillips head screwdriver before riding.

Secure the Lock-Down Straps

Fasten the velcro RideSecure™ Lock-Down Straps around the rack to fully secure the bag. Straps should be pulled snug and fully fastened before riding — this is your final safety lock.
